1987
Ceagro starts its activities in the city of Campinas (SP-Brazil), as a broker in the agribusiness sector.
1991
Ceagro begins to operate as a commercial company, focused on trading corn mainly for poultry feed.
2002
With the growth and modernization of agribusiness in Brazil, Ceagro expands its scope and focuses on soybeans in major producing states.
2005
Ceagro starts barter trade operations, a model that involves the exchange of inputs for a portion of future crop and allows farmers added security.
2010
Ceagro holds its first issuance of bonds abroad and expands its investment capacity.
2011
Ceagro achieves a record 1.3 million tons of marketed grains, despite difficult macroeconomic conditions.
2012
Ceagro receives ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, confirming the company's commitment to the quality of its services and care for the environment.
2013
Ceagro AgroScience and C&BI Agro Partners are established to expand services provided to farmers, providing technological and financial solutions for the agribusiness sector. Ceagro acquires Agroextra, main distributor of Syngenta agricultural inputs throughout Mato Grosso.
